My sketchbook is my happy place. Within those pages I can explore ideas, thoughts, feelings, fears, likes, dislikes, and most importantly plan for larger illustrations. I use a trusty mechanical pencil for all my sketching (Which is, perhaps, “bad practice”) and I try not to go anywhere without my sketchbook in my bag.
